My name is Betsy Bess and I am so excited to be the English Learners teacher at DCES this year. This is my 32nd year with DeSoto County schools. I have 2 children, ages 14 and 8. My son is at DCMS and my daughter is at PHES.
I have a Bachelor's and Master's degree from the University of Mississippi, as well as other areas of endorsement. I currently serve as the Chair Elect (Vice President) for the Mississippi Literacy Association.
