Education: I graduated from Arkansas State University with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a Master's degree in Reading. I am certified to teach K-12 and a certified Reading Specialist. In addition, I am certified in English as a Second Language in grades K-12.
Experience: I have been in education for 34 years. I taught Kindergarten and First Grade for 27 years. I began teaching for the Blytheville Public School District in Blytheville, Ar. and later moved to Collierville. I have been teaching for Desoto County Schools for 25 years. The past 7 years, I have taught English as a Second Language to grades K-5.
Bio: I am married and I have two daughters. Lane graduated from Ole Miss and completed her Master's degree from University of Memphis . She is an Accountant for Tyson. Olivia is in her second year at University of Arkansas. We are originally from Arkansas, so we are big Razorback fans.
